1-5 days depending on the size of the system or property
This depends on whether you have a South, East or West facing roof. It would also depend on the size of the roof. Generally it will take 5-25 years, but can be less
There are a number of different ways to install solar panels on a flat roof. We use a Valk pro + system that weighs down the panels. Some other systems include piercing the roof to install, but this can cause the roof to leak. This system protects the roof and keeps it weathered at the same time
Solar panels can be installed on any facing roof, although it is not advisable to install on a North facing roof due to the lack of sunlight. So if you have a South, East or West facing roof, solar panels would be perfect!
This would depend on the size of your house and your energy consumption. If you use our ‘contact us’ form and provide details of the size of your house (ie 3 bed, 4 bed etc) and your energy consumption (this can be found on your electricity bill) – then we can give you an idea of the amount of panels you require within a range.
There are different things to factor in when installing solar panels such as the amount of panels required and the scaffolding (£600-£2500) amongst other things.
We would say that it would cost approximately £2500 upto £10,000. This would be for 0.70KW to 7KW.
There would also be additional extras such as:
A Bird Blocker – This stops birds getting under the panels. This worth getting for future proofing your installation. Price range is between £600-£1200 depending on the size of the system
Tigo Optimisers – These are good if one panel or more become shaded, then the optimisers keep the rest of the system operating
Cloud Connect – A cloud is worth getting if you purchase Optimisers as this allows you to monitor how each panel is doing through each optimiser via the cloud connect app
I Boost – This connects up to the immersion cylinder and when solar is being produced, this in turn heats up the water cylinder
No, a DNO notification is something we could do on your behalf whereby we notify UK Power Network that a solar installation has taken place.
This depends on how big the solar installation is versus how much energy you’re consuming
For 5kw – £4500+VAT. This would generally be for 2 Fox Ess 2.5kw batteries
We charge between £12,000+VAT – £14,000+VAT
