EV Charging Points London
EV Charging Point Installation London – Power Up Your Electric Vehicle with Ease
Owning an electric car is quickly becoming the popular choice for many Londoners, as it allows for a reduction in emissions and saves on fuel costs. However, the potential downside of EVs is relying on public EV charging points. Using these can be both inconvenient and expensive. That’s why more EV drivers are choosing to install their own EV chargers at home or work. At PSC Electrical, we specialise in EV charging point installation in London. Our installation services offer you the opportunity to save even more money and time in the long run.
Why Install an EV Charging Point?
If you own an electric car, having a charge point at home or your workplace offers many advantages:
- Convenience – You can charge your car overnight, over the weekend, during the evening or whenever the car is not in use. This allows you to have a fully powered vehicle’s battery whenever you need it.
- Cost Savings – Home EV chargers are much cheaper than using public charging stations.
- Increased Property Value – Homes and businesses with EV charge facilities are in growing demand as more people are making the change to EV vehicles. This means properties with an EV charging point are attractive to potential buyers.
- Support for Zero Emission Vehicles – Reduce your carbon footprint and contribute to a cleaner environment.
How Does an EV Charging Point Work?
An electric car charger works similarly to a fuel pump—except it delivers electricity instead of petrol or diesel. When you install a home charge point, you can plug in your car and let it charge while you go about your day or sleep at night.
For businesses, installing EV charging points through the workplace charging scheme is a great way to support employees who drivezero-emission vehicles. We can help you apply for grants to reduce costs on Pod Point and other leading EV chargers.
