EV Charging Point Installation Addiscombe

Charging your electric vehicle at home is far cheaper and far less hassle than queuing at a public charge point. We are PSC Electrical, a family run business based just down the road in Croydon, and we have been installing EV charging points across Addiscombe and the surrounding CR0 streets for years. Every installation is carried out by our own NICEIC approved electricians, never a subcontractor.

Home EV Charger Installation for Addiscombe Drivers

Addiscombe is a mix of Victorian and Edwardian terraces, converted flats and newer developments, so no two installations look quite the same. Some homes here have a driveway or a shared parking bay, others have front gardens where the cable run needs planning carefully. We survey your property first, agree the best position for the unit and the safest route back to your consumer unit, then give you a fixed price before any work starts.

Most single charger installations are completed in three to four hours. We tidy up properly, test the circuit, and hand over your certification along with a walkthrough of how the charger and its app work.

Which Charger Is Right for You?

We are not tied to one manufacturer, so we recommend the unit that genuinely suits how you drive. If you cover high mileage and need a full charge overnight, a 7kW tethered unit usually makes sense. If you park a little further from the wall or share the space with a second vehicle, an untethered socket gives you more flexibility. Smart chargers that schedule around cheaper overnight tariffs are worth considering for almost everyone.

Charging Points for Businesses and Landlords

We also fit workplace and multi unit charging for offices, car parks and blocks of flats around Addiscombe and East Croydon. That includes load assessments, three phase supplies and back office systems for billing staff or tenants. Quotes following a site visit are free of charge.

Grants and Flexible Finance

Grant funding is available for renters, flat owners, landlords and businesses, and we will help you with the paperwork rather than leaving you to work it out. If you would rather spread the cost, we offer finance through Ideal4Finance, including 0% APR over 12 months, subject to status.

Why Choose PSC Electrical

There are no call out fees and no hidden charges. We hold trade accounts with the UK’s largest electrical wholesalers, which keeps the price of parts sensible, and we are happy to beat any written quotation. We are Which? Trusted Traders with a 9.93 out of 10 customer rating, and our work has featured on ITV’s Love Your Garden.
